"Four lots of tremendously sad news in one week. I am so grateful to have @jboasty_dop by my side to get through some of the more upsetting stuff. Thank you for always being there for me and being my rock. Love you xxx."

While Jasmine, 47, didn't clarify what the terrible news was she went on to post a thank you video to her Instagram Stories report the Echo.

Her voice began to crack and tears filled her eyes as she said: "I just wanted to say an extremely heart felt thank you for all the lovely messages and the support."

She offered a brief explanation as she added: "I just wanted to reassure you that it's nothing to be concerned about. Me, you know, sometimes stuff happens in life and there's nothing you can really do anything about."

"All you can do is try to support the people that you love and that's what I'm doing. But it's... sometimes it gets heavy.

"I'm so lucky to have the people in my life that I have and I'm so lucky to have a job that I love that takes my mind off stuff. I'm so lucky to have all of you out there who have been so kind and supportive as well, so thank you very much."
