A Place in the Sun buyers spot 'troubling' feature before stepping into Spanish home

A Place in the Sun buyers were "troubled" by a feature before stepping into a home.

Craig Rowe was hosting today's edition of the popular Channel 4 programme. The property expert was helping Alistair and Jennifer find their dream holiday home on the Costa del Sol.

The married couple were looking for a three bedroom home and were armed with a maximum budget of £225,000. They were hoping to secure a property with a large space for enough room for their two children and pet dog.

The search got off to a strong start as they were impressed with the first two properties on the search. The buyers were looking for somewhere with more space which led Craig to show the buyers around a three bed apartment in Mijas Pueblo.

The property boasted a private back garden and by a massive terrace, but the expert was worried the buyers could be put off by the apartment's proximity to the road.

Before they stepped into the home, he asked: "Does this bother you? Does this trouble you?"

Alistair responded: "It really depends on what the property looks like and the whole package on whether it's something we would compromise on."

The couple were impressed by the interior, but Jennifer said the home wasn't a contender. She said: "The road is very noisy and its quite difficult to get past that."

The buyers were also impressed by the fourth home on the search, but they eventually decided they wouldn't be putting an offer in and were returning to the region in two weeks to continue the search.
