A Place In The Sun buyers break down in tears moments after walking into home

A Place In The Sun buyers broke down in tears after viewing a property they deemed as 'perfect'.

Sisters Victoria and Gail were today's buyers as they hoped to get their hands on a spacious property they could use for themselves but also rent out as part of their pension plan. Jetting off to Spain's Costa Blanca, they were eager to find a place that soaked up both the mountains and sea.

With a budget of £260,000, today's presenter Dannie Menzies showed the sisters multiple locations that teetered around their limit but agreed they were happy to push for more if the right property came along. The third home they were shown came just under their top line, sitting at £270,000.

Situated in Altea, the sisters were shown around a stunning 6-bed property that took their breath away. Despite being the most expensive home on the list, it appears the extra money was worth it.

After being shown around the villa, one of the sisters began to weep as she leaned on the other for support. Stating she could picture her family living there, emotions got the better of her as she wiped away tears.

She said: "I didn't expect this at all. What a beautiful terrace, it's the kind of place to show your visitors... to show off. I can just picture all of us here now. Danni you've done it again." Danni added: "I'm so delighted it went down so well."

The group laughed as they prevented any more tears from being shed. After being shown around all the available properties, the sisters went with the Altea location after the owners accepted their offer of £256,000.

A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4 and All 4
