Property expert Laura Hamilton told a buyer she needed a reality check after hearing about her small budget and high expectations.
Motorbike enthusiast Jennie was looking for a holiday home in the Western Costa del Sol and brought along her best friend of almost 40 years, Kate, to help her. With a budget of £85,000, Laura was tasked with finding them the perfect place.
Jennie was eager to use her mother's inheritance to find a two-bed property with great views, spacious rooms and a quiet area but the specifications left Laura feeling unenthusiastic. Setting the buyer straight just minutes into the show, she said: "I think you need a bit of a reality check."

Asked if there was any wiggle room in the budget to help ease the process, Jennie said: "Not really. I'm happy to compromise a 15-minute taxi ride or paint a few cupboards but that's it."
Throughout the show, Jennie was unimpressed with most of the properties despite the majority apparently meeting her needs. The first home she was shown was a studio space which she immediately laughed at and declined just moments after entering.
Laura consistently had to remind the buyers of what they requested but, despite their criteria being met, they still were not happy. Discussing their pickiness online, one viewer said: "This woman has completely unrealistic expectations!"
Another added: "She's more or less told them they won't get what they want for the budget. Went straight over their heads."
When it came to signing a deal, Jennie said she wasn't opposed to making an offer in the future but that moment wasn't the right time to do so. She ended up making an offer the next day for £20,000 below the asking price which the owner declined.
