An A Place in the Sun buyer made a "sad" admission as she shared the heartbreaking reason for her search.
Ben Hillman fronted Wednesday's edition of the popular Channel 4 programme. The property expert helped Michelle and Charlotte find their dream holiday home in Lanzarote.
The mum and daughter were searching for a two bedroom holiday home big enough for their family of four. They were armed with a maximum budget of £120,000 and wanted somewhere with a balcony.

Michelle explained the emotional reason why she decided now is the time to find their family holiday home. She said: "My mum sadly passed away from cancer this year and I wanted to buy somewhere friends and family can come that were there to support me when my mum had treatment."
The search got off to a strong start and Michelle was particularly blown away by property two, which was a two bed apartment in Playa Blanca. Ben said Michelle's reason for the search was "bittersweet" as he asked what her mum's advice would be.
The buyer responded: "I'm just sad she'll never be able to see it but every time I come here she'll be looking down." She added: "I can't see how you're going to beat this one. I am not very often lost for words, but I kind of am lost for words at the moment."
However, Ben did manage to beat it the next property as Michelle also loved the third home on the search and once again thought about what her mum's advice would be. The buyer said: "She would say 'Michelle forget the previous property, this is the one you need to have. It's made my head spin really."
The third home was a one bed-apartment in Puerto Del Carmen priced at £138,392. The buyers decided to put in a bid for the home and eventually secured it for £120,000.
