A peak at winter

Mt. Fuji is seen coated in snow for the first time this season on Tuesday. The iconic mountain's first dusting was observed 26 days later than last year and 22 days later than the average year, according to the Kofu Local Meteorological Office in Yamanashi Prefecture. Crowds of tourists gathered on the shore of Lake Motosu in Minobu in the prefecture to take pictures of snow-capped Mt. Fuji between clouds.
