A Patrick Mahomes kneel-down on final Chiefs play cost NFL bettor $7K in horrible bad beat

Ooooooffff. This is an all-timer of a bad beat, but the wild thing is it’s happened before.

An NFL bettor who put together nine-leg parlay for $25 was one bet away from nailing the whole thing and winning nearly $7,000. All he needed was for Patrick Mahomes to go over 16.5 rushing yards on the night.

Mahomes was at 18 rushing yards on Sunday night during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 35-31 win over the Las Vegas Raiders when Derek Carr threw an interception with 19 seconds left in the fourth quarter that sealed the win for the Chiefs.

You know what happened next: Mahomes kneeled twice … and finished with 16 yards rushing.

This also apparently happened at the end of Super Bowl LIV!

Sports betting is hard, man.
