A pair of former Redskins were some of Super Bowl’s highest-graded players

Washington Redskins fans watching the Super Bowl where the Kansas City Chiefs took down the San Francisco 49ers might have noticed that two former members of the team put up big plays.

Those former Redskins would be defensive backs Kendall Fuller and Bashaud Breeland.

Both Chiefs defensive backs picked off 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and those critical plays made them two of the big game’s highest-graded players at Pro Football Focus.

Breeland, a guy the Redskins let walk in free agency a few years back, has carved out a nice role for himself in Kansas City. Fuller, of course, was a trade piece in the Alex Smith trade.

Funnily enough, corner continues to be an issue for the Redskins as they face some questions at the position this offseason thanks to the likes of Josh Norman.

Both of these guys happen to be free agents this year.
