If you love to travel and have a good eye for colours, paint company Behr may have the perfect job for you.
The company is currently looking to hire someone for the position of “colour explorer” and it would mean travelling across the US and Canada looking for new paint colours and names.
The dream job, which would entail looking to nature and cities for colour inspiration, also comes with a salary of $10,000 - and all travel expenses are covered.
“The colour explorer will kayak the glacial blues of Lake Louise in Banff, join the crowd at a vibrant music festival, take in the bold exteriors of Charleston’s Rainbow Row, and experience many more moments of positively pigmented wanderlust in between,” the job description reads.
In addition to looking for new colours, the colour explorer will also be tasked with taking detailed field notes and photos of the colour inspiration they find, as well as keeping followers up to date via a blog.
Once the colour explorer has decided on hues, they will use their findings to “create and name beautiful new Behr paint colours”.
To qualify for the position, applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid US or Canadian passport and be able to travel across the US and Canada this summer.
The only other requirement is you must “love colour and be open to new, unforgettable and inspiring experiences”.
