Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra visited the Srisailam Project model room at the dam site on Sunday after an early morning darshan of presiding deities at the Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple.
Justice Prashant Kumar along with his wife had a darshan of Bhramaramba Devi and Mallikarjuna Swamy and participated in the Ratnagarbha Ganapathi puja followed by Maha Mangala Harathi, Abhishekam and Kumkumarchana to Ammavaru. The couple were blessed by the Vedic pundits on the temple premises, before they were seen by District Collector P. Koteswar Rao, Superintendent of Police Ch. Sudheer Kumar and Principal District Judge Radhakrishna Krupasagar.
They were given ‘sesha vastram’ and ‘prasadam’ by temple Executive Officer S. Lavanna.
The couple then visited the Srisailam Dam Model room and understood the functioning of the dam, its capacity, how much water was there in storage and how much and when was the water released.
