One of the biggest travel trends for 2019 is, undoubtedly, incorporating wellness into your adventures. And what better place to do this than at a wellness festival?
This summer, the French Riviera will be home to a new wellness festival, with the inaugural In Your Element festival taking place on the weekend of July 6 and 7.
The festival will be held in Monte Carlo and will be a weekend filled with wellness and fitness classes and, as the name suggests, will be focussing on the four elements: Earth, Air, Water and Fire.
Hosted at the boutique, beachside Columbus Hotel and with access to World Class Gym, the Fire sessions will focus on movement, the Earth sessions on health and holistic therapies, Air will look at breathing, yoga and reiki, while Water will focus on food and manual therapy.
Top class instructors will be on hand to run the classes. London-based personal trainer Chiara Lewis will take guests through her ‘Total Body’ class concept, while Kim Hartwell will take attendees through her signature ‘Tone & OM’ class, which mixes HIIT and yoga.
Richie Bostock AKA The Breath Guy, who trained under extreme athlete Wim Hof (of the Wim Hof method), will teach attendees about the importance of breath and Jasmine Hemsley, a London-based wellness and nutrition expert, will run workshops on ayurvedic cuisine.
With tickets starting from just €50, each attendee will take home a £100-worth of beauty and wellness products in a goodie bag and will have access to complimentary reiki and crystal healing sessions during their stay too.
