Edinburgh has always been lucky to have its sister city Glasgow so close by, with it only taking just under an hour to get through to the West.
However, it now appears that there is an even speedier method to make your way there, a flight.
Yes, you heard correct, a flight between Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Despite only being a 46 mile journey, one confused passenger spotted the Glasgow flight on the Edinburgh Airport departures board earlier this week.
After being extremely surprised at the extremely short internal flight, the traveller took a picture of the board and sent it to his friend who instantly posted it online, reports Glasgow Live.
The friend tweeted: "A friend of mine sent me this from Edinburgh Airport, are there Edinburgh to Glasgow flights? Ridiculous if so!"
However, despite being one of the most pointless flights you will ever see, the board was correct, with the Loganair flight making around five trips a week between the two cities.
Sadly though, the flight isn't actually available to buy tickets for, as it is part of a second leg route from Southampton to Glasgow that is currently running via Edinburgh Airport.
According to Loganair, the oddly mapped out route is a short-term measure which is combining normally separate flights between Southampton and the two Scottish cities.
As passenger numbers have been low during the pandemic, the airline has merged the two services into one trip, even though the EDI-GLA flight takes a mere 13 minutes.
A Loganair spokesman said: "This is a very short-term expedient to combine our Glasgow-Southampton and Edinburgh-Southampton services while passenger numbers recover from the effect of the pandemic.
"From August, flights will be separate and even until that time, we don’t sell tickets for travel only between Glasgow and Edinburgh."
