Since the government put the country into lockdown, we’ve been missing our friends, nipping to the shops and going to the cinema. Thankfully one of those things is about to come back into our life for a limited time only.
The first wave of films have been announced which will feature in this summer’s UK-wide tour are retro classics from Grease and Back To The Future, critically-acclaimed films Joker and A Star Is Born, and family favourites Toy Story and Lion King, Suzuki presents @TheDriveIn invites passengers of all ages to pull up, sit back and enjoy. The much-loved films will be played on a top-of-the-range LED screen and beamed straight into guests’ car radios - with safe social-distancing practices in place - to provide a much-needed escape for those missing outdoors entertainment post lockdown.
For £35 a car, this summer, friends and families across the UK can enjoy an exciting take on the drive-in cinema experience thanks to @TheDriveIn. Tickets are limited and are now on sale via atthedrive.in.
Not only that but ticket holders will have access to exciting additional surprises too.

@TheDriveIn is allowing passengers to pull up in their cars to enjoy a whole host of drive in experiences, from stand up comedy to bingo to silent car discos, ahead of watching some of the world’s best-loved films beamed straight into their car radio.
Featuring a top-of-the-range LED screen, a food delivery app serving American-style dishes and snacks via roller waiters, whilst adhering to safe social-distancing practices, @TheDriveIn offers a much-needed escape for those missing outdoors entertainment post lockdown.

More than just a great movie, each screening will be preceded by a range of entertainment including bingo, silent car disco or stand-up comedy show, elevating Suzuki presents @TheDriveIn to a must-do experience for families and friendship groups of all ages. A food delivery app will allow guests to order Americana-inspired food from some of the industry’s best traders, delivered straight to special boxes by each car via roller waiters.
Suzuki presents @TheDriveIn will be stopping at 13 venues in 12 UK cities this summer, including Newcastle Airport, Edinburgh Zoo, Liverpool Shopping Park and Edward Street Car Park Leeds. Further venues are expected to be announced on the website so keep your eyes peeled.
Cars will be parked over two metres apart provide naturally built-in social distancing and entry will be via license plate checking, meaning no interaction between staff and guests is necessary. Toilet facilities and strict hygiene measures in line with government guidelines will ensure a safe environment for all.
With six shows per city, there is something for everyone, from family-friendly afternoons to late-night shows providing a must-do ticket this summer.
