During lockdown, one of the little little luxuries we've been missing the most is the chance to go to the cinema.
So the news that a new retro drive in cinema experience is coming to our fair city later this year should be music to film buffs' ears.
Described as "an exciting take on the classic drive in experience", 'At The Drive In' is promising everything from films and stand up to bingo and food deliveries. - and it has the added benefit of helping to maintain better social distancing with households keeping to their own cars.
The organisers have said they will host "six shows in each city, from family friendly afternoons to late night blockbusters. Pick your favourite film and enjoy!"
It will be in Glasgow from Thursday to Sunday on August 6 to 9. The venue has not yet been confirmed.
