The Business, the Sunday financial newspaper that has never managed to find a profitable buying audience, is to be relaunched as a so-called "international business magazine" in October. The new full-colour 72-page magazine will go on sale on Thursdays, and will be incorporated into new Press Holdings Magazine Publishing group along with The Spectator and the and arts and antiques magazine Apollo under chief executive Andrew Neil. He said today: "Research has shown there is a gap in the market for a business magazine aimed at metropolitan, young, affluent readers." It will be edited by Ian Watson, and staffed by the newspaper's existing editorial team. (Via media.theguardian.com)
