A new £2.5m family mini golf venue is opening in Leeds

A new £2.5m indoor mini golf venue is opening in Leeds.

Puttstars aims to put a 'modern twist' on mini golf with three interactive fun-filled courses to take on.

Gone are the days of pencil and paper scoring. At Puttstars, scores are digitally calculated using high tech screens at each hole.

Scores are totted up as players make their way around the course and at the end of the game everyone is in with a chance of making it onto the overall top putters leaderboard.

Puttstars will be opening on Friday, March 6 at The Springs based at Thorpe Park.

The attraction aims to be a complete entertainment experience. As well as mini golf, customers at Puttstars can also refuel with food and drinks.

The centre will also boast an impressive amusement area with games sure to keep the competitive spirit alive.

Lynne Watson, Puttstars Leeds centre manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening the UK’s first Puttstars venue in Thorpe Park.

“Puttstars will bring a unique mini golf gaming experience for families and groups of friends to enjoy and we can’t wait to welcome them through our doors.

“We are now taking bookings for Leeds customers to come and enjoy Puttstars.”

You can book and find out more about the venue by visiting the Puttstars website.

The launch of the new venue will  create 30 new jobs.
