A murder mystery dinner is coming to Mackintosh at the Willow this Halloween

We usually only report great things on Charles Rennie Mackintosh - but this Halloween he is our number one suspect!

The iconic Glaswegian, along with his wife Margaret Macdonald and tearoom tycoon Kate Cranston, is under suspicion of murder following a ghastly death at Mackintosh at the Willow.

We never thought the Willow Tearooms were spooky...until now! (Wikipedia)

Thrillseekers are being invited to step back in time to 1903 to investigate the scene of the crime.

As well as figuring out whodunnit, guests will have exclusive use of the venue and be treated to dinner in the Salon de Luxe.  Very fancy. And possibly quite scary...

Thankfully, to take the edge off, guests will be treated with a glass of fizz on arrival.  Always helps to calm the nerves when there is a murderer on the loose, we find.

The Tea Time Murder event will be held at the Willow Tearooms from 7pm-11pm on Thursday 24 October.

It’s an interactive event, so guests are encouraged to dress the part while they interrogate the suspects in a bid to get to the bottom of the gruesome murder.

Tickets will be available to buy online and are £40.00pp (excluding booking fee) and tables will sit groups of 4-5.
