The Sydney University Drama society present a new take on the Shakespearean classic A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Set in the modern world, where homophobia is rife and love is abundant and complicated, it explores of sexuality, gender and forbidden love. The story takes place between Athens and a magical forest, where everyone seems to be watching everyone else. It leaves audiences wondering if they can ever be free of this new world that has been created or whether it is all just a dream.
