A micro-pig is running loose in a Leeds cul-de-sac

A micro pig is running loose in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police said the animal was running around the Poplar Close area of Bramley, in Leeds, this morning (September 27).

They urged members of the public to get in touch if they knew who the pig belonged to.

The Wildlife & Rural Crime division said: "There is currently a micro pig running loose in the Poplar Close area of Bramley."

They added the number of a wildlife officer for members of the public to call if they had any information.

West Yorkshire Police also put out an appeal on Twitter at 11.19am this morning.

The tweet read: "Appeal for information on behalf of wildlife officer PCSO Taylor.

"A micro-pig is running loose in the Poplar Close area."

They asked anyone who knows who the pig belonged to to get in touch with the officer.
