A mic’d-up P.J. Tucker delightfully complimented Kevin Durant after getting scored on

If NBA broadcasters ever wanted to offer an uncensored, mic’d-up option to watch entire games, people would be lining up to tune in. But I won’t get my hopes up about that ever happening.

Instead, we’ll live with the production-selected mic’d-up segments because even those can be great.

Sunday’s game between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks was a perfect example of just that.

The ESPN on ABC broadcast shared an exchange between P.J. Tucker and Kevin Durant. The Nets star had just scored on Tucker, and during an ensuing stoppage, Tucker had to give Durant props because he didn’t see that move coming at all.

Even Durant couldn’t help but crack a smile. Tucker watched Durant’s past three games and didn’t see that move. P.J.’s going to need to expand that scouting sample size next time.

More of this please, ESPN.
