A mic’d-up Freddie Freeman correctly predicted a wind gust would allow him to score

We can’t get enough of mic’d up Major League players.

Thus far, during spring training, we’ve seen Kris Bryant hilariously narrate his own at-bat, his Chicago Cubs teammate Anthony Rizzo make fun of the Houston Astros cheating scandal and the New York Mets’ Dom Smith joke with ex-Astro J.D. Davis about the same thing.

This time, we get Atlanta Braves slugger Freddie Freeman running the bases with two outs on Friday as what could be a routine pop-up turns into a hit. He informed the broadcast that “THERE’S WIND, BOYS!” and that the ball is going to drop in, allowing him to score. As usual, it made for must-see television when he was right.

So good. Can we PLEASE make this a regular-season thing?
