A meaningless last-second Cowboys defensive TD resulted in horrendous bad beats everywhere

Oh no.

We’ve seen it happen too many times in the NFL with teams getting blown out — they attempt to come back late, turn the ball over and allow a last-second touchdown that’s meaningless for everyone except fantasy players and sports bettors.

(Remember that Chiefs’ backdoor cover in the final play against the Redskins in 2017? Ugh.)

Here’s the latest example: with 24 seconds left in the New York Giants’ loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Daniel Jones was trying to drive down the field with his team down 30-18. The over/under for many folks was 48 points … and then this happened as the clock continued to tick down:

That’s the worst luck, and it hurt both fantasy owners and bettors:

Ooooooffff.
