June has been a bit of a washout so far but hopefully July will bring the sunshine because a huge new beer garden is opening in the city centre.
The 80-seat garden is part of the Marlin Hotel, which is set to open on July 19 creating 110 new jobs.
The state of the art 300-bed hotel is located just a short walk from St Stephen's Green in the heart of the city.
Marlin has also been granted planning permission for serviced apartments, a bar and restaurant at 22-24 Aungier Street, Dublin 2.
As well as the bar and restaurant facilities, the development will include a health & wellness centre that will form an annex to the hotel.
The buildings on Aungier Street are some of the oldest in Dublin.
Marlin say the project will have a transformative effect on this dilapidated section of the street and will enhance the area as it becomes established as the Aungier Street Quarter.
An on-street entrance from Aungier Street will lead to the Marlin Hotel restaurant, bar and outdoor terraces leading onto Bow Lane.
