'A massive lesson' - Leeds United fans have their say on defeat to Leicester City

Leeds United fans have been reflecting on their defeat to Leicester City.

A nightmare start saw the Whites go 2-0 down early on and they faced an uphill battle from there on out.

When Stuart Dallas pulled a goal back shortly after half-time, the Whites dominated the ball but struggled to create many more clear-cut chances against a stubborn Leicester defence.

The introduction of James Maddison then gave the Foxes a threat on the counter-attack and they netted two more times to run out 4-1 winners.

It left many Whites fans bemoaning a bad day at the office against a side perfectly set-up to counter Marcelo Bielsa's side's threats.

Speaking post-match, Bielsa said his side lacked an impact going forward, admitting they were not able to cause Leicester enough problems when on top.

He said: "We had an hour to attack the last 15 minutes of the first half and whole of the second half.

"We couldn’t manage to cause any harm or damage to their defence. We didn’t create enough chances given the possession we had over this hour. We lacked impact.

"We knew we were going to face a challenge like we did. The help I gave the players with regards to defending better and attacking better, I didn’t give."

Yet Bielsa also held his hands up and admitted his tactics early on also cost the team.

He said: "I didn’t distribute the players correctly on the field. It was difficult for us to win the ball back and this caused us to play poorly."

Bielsa added: "What I explained is I did it wrongly in the first half and in the second half I corrected this error. You have to compare the two."
