A mass skinny dip is coming to pools, lakes and beaches - with a couple of them just a short drive away near Blackpool.
Naked swims will be staged up and down the country in July as part of a campaign by British Naturism to promote 'the health benefits of nudity'.
Spokesman Andrew Welch said: "People who regularly shed their clothes know that the benefits include improved well-being, reduced stress and an increase in body confidence. It’s also liberating and a lot of fun!
"Millions of people worldwide have discovered this simple antidote to the stresses of modern life and we want to encourage more people to experience it."
There are no events confirmed to be taking place in Greater Manchester yet, but you can sign up online to organise your own.
There are a couple of events at the coast near Blackpool - at Lytham St Anne's Beach (July 6, 11am to 7pm) and Poulton Swim & Spa, Poulton-le-Fylde (July 6, 7pm to 9pm).
The closest confirmed event is in Warrington, at Penketh Pool, on July 12, from 7pm to 9pm.
There is also an event scheduled at Chester's Northgate Arena (July 13, 7.15pm to 9.30pm);
British Naturism was the group behind the family nude swimming session at Blackpool's Sandcastle Waterpark in February.
The event faced a backlash from campaigners who raised concerns over child safeguarding - a responsibility the organisation said it took 'extremely seriously'.
