We have just a week or so before the end of the new year, but this marriage proposal that cane in under the wire as one of my favorite things I’ve seen all year.
Here’s the situation: Danielle Bush is a Utah Jazz dancer. Earlier this week, she was doing a routine with the team during a stoppage in a game … when the music changed. The dancers around here knew exactly what they were doing with the new sounds of Marry You by Bruno Mars playing. Bush tried to keep up with a routine she didn’t know … until it hit her.
And that’s when her boyfriend walked out, got down on one knee and asked if she’d marry him:

She spoke to KSL TV and had this to say:
“My first thought is, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m going to lose my job,’” Bush said. “I tried to make eye contact with my teammates, but they wouldn’t stop being all smiley and giggly and they weren’t helping me out!”
Just amazing. Congrats to the couple!
