A Manchester pub is giving away free pints to anyone called Neil

O'Neill's in the Printworks is giving away free pints to anyone with Neil in their name next week.

The Irish pub chain is celebrating its 25th birthday by giving away pints of Guinness to anyone with 'Neil' in their first name, middle name or surname.

Various spellings of Neil will be accepted too - Neill, Neal, Neale or O'Neill all welcome.

There are only 25 free pints up for grabs, which are on a first-come, first-served basis, and you'll need to be carrying photo ID to claim your pint.

The offer is available between April 22 and 26.

Needless to say, you'll also need to be aged 18 or over to claim your drink from the Printworks pub.

Danielle McKeefrey, general manager at O’Neill’s Printworks, said: "Myself and the whole team are really excited to celebrate 25 fantastic years of O’Neill’s with the people of Manchester.

"We couldn’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than to share our special day with fellow Neils. We’re looking forward to welcoming our wonderful guests to join with us in raising a glass and joining in the craic for this huge birthday celebration!"
