A Manchester Metropolitan University student has been wowing Countdown viewers as he pulverises opponents with a series of record-breaking scores.
Elliott Mellor, from Oldham, has already beaten the show's highest ever score of 150 - set in January this year - by posting 152 on Friday.
Remarkably he bagged three nine letter words during the resounding victory.
Elliot's been on the long-running Channel 4 quiz show since last Thursday, when he also got the highest ever debut score of 131.
Last night the maths student solved the final conundrum in the blink of an eye, picking out the word computing in 'GIMPCOUNT'.
It even had host Nick Hewer singing his praises.
"Oh Elliot, the clock barely moved. It was in a second," he said.
During the show Elliott, who attended The Blue Coat School in Oldham and plays tennis at The Priory tennis club in Stalybridge, also set the record for the biggest ever winning margin beating Kieran Matley by 143 - 10.
And his performances have got Countdown fans and old friends drooling.
Cranmer Education Trust, which runs The Blue Coat School, wrote on Facebook: "Elliott Mellor from Blue Coat competed on Channel 4's Countdown programme, just look at the score!!"
Elliott's former tennis coach Andy Perry wrote: "Just been watching one of my former pupils Elliott Mellor creating on Friday on Countdown.
"I’d like to say I taught him everything I know, but what I will say is it was always a pleasure, and what a thoroughly nice young man you’ve become.
"Saw him today at Priory Tennis Club Coaching and he was as nice as ever and slightly overcome with all the attention."
Liam Holton wrote: "'I've been watching this young chap by the name of Elliott Mellor on Countdown throughout the last week and he is bloody unbelievable."
Jason Larsen posted: "Five centuries in a row for Elliott Mellor. Three words: Oh... my... god!"
