But one Manchester nightlife institution will be celebrating its reopening, and a year of missed events, with the most bonkers plan we've seen yet.
Cruz 101 will be throwing a Christmas party, a Halloween party, a Pride party and even a New Year's Eve celebration over the next week.

Each one will come with full themed decor, performances and costumes, and ticket-holders are encouraged to dig back into their fancy dress boxes.

The eight-day extravaganza will kick off on Monday July 19, when England finally moves to the last stage of the roadmap and nightclubs can reopen at long last.
The first night will be reserved for its reopening party, which will start at one minute past midnight and run into the early hours of Monday morning, along with a 'freedom day' celebration on Monday night.
Tuesday July 20 will see the return of its Queer As Folk-themed Babylon club night, then there's a beach party on Wednesday.
Manchester Pride is a massive date in the calendar for Cruz 101, but August 2020's celebrations were massively scaled down across the city due to Covid restrictions.
So now there's a belated Pride party in the diary for Thursday July 22.
It's then full steam ahead with missed landmarks - Halloween, New Year's Eve, and even a mid-heatwave Christmas party.
