A Manchester bar is launching a mince pie pizza

It's the custard and mozzarella marriage nobody asked for.

Crazy Pedro's has launched its Christmas special - a mince pie pizza.

The festive, er, treat is topped with crumbled mince pies, whiskey cream, cranberry sauce, custard, and mozzarella cheese.

They've called it Pie Hard, obviously, in homage to everyone's favourite alternative Christmas classic, starring Bruce Willis as hero cop Detective John McClane.

It's available by the slice for £3 or you can buy the whole 16 inch pizza for £16 from the Northern Quarter and Bridge Street bars now.

It's not even the maddest creation Crazy Pedro's has come up with: the pizza parlour's previous specials have included a Greggs-inspired sausage roll topping, a chips, cheese and gravy takeaway twist, and an Easter edition topped with Cadbury Creme Eggs.
