There’s always something going on in Liverpool and this summer is no different.
Next month The Great Baltic Warehouse will host a series of hilarious obstacle courses along with a beach bar and live DJ sets when it welcomes The Malibu Games.
The venue will be transformed into a tropical island paradise with three unique gaming zones - all inspired by Malibu rum flavours - from August 7 to 11.
Contestants will be put to the test, challenging their balance, speed and tenacity as they make their way through each section to collect points.
The zones include the Not So Coconut Shy, where gamers must scramble to collect as many coconuts as possible, and the Strawberry Sprint, where contestants must leap across fruity podiums, dodge giant swinging strawberries and avoid the ball pit below.
In the final dash, gamers will need to take on the Passionfruit Prism, collecting tokens in a race against the clock.
Alongside the obstacle courses, there will be a Malibu Beach Bar with live DJ sets, a range of ‘Instagrammable’ backdrops and samples of new Malibu flavours.
For those who don’t fancy competing and would rather sit back and watch, the bar is open all day and there’s a viewing gallery to take it all in.
The Malibu Games operates 45 minute slots running every 15 minutes.
