The organisers of an 18th birthday party and a ‘makeshift barbers’ are among the people to be fined by police for lockdown breaches.
Police in Oldham have issued 13 Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN) for ‘Covid-19 Regulation breaches’ over the last week.
Among the rulebreakers was a person who failed to self-isolate after returning home to an address in Werneth from abroad.
A mobile hairdresser who has been carrying out hairdressing services in the borough was also fined.
And police also issued a FPN for to a “makeshift barbers” operating in the Moorside area of the town.
Two parties - including an 18th birthday - resulted in fines.
While household mixing also led to enforcement.
Officers from Oldham posted details of the breaches on the GMP Failsworth & Hollinwood Facebook page on Monday morning (November 30).
They wrote: “In the last week, Oldham police were called to a number of reports of Covid-19 Regulation breaches.
“They have issued 13 Fixed Penalty Notices.
“Some of the Breaches included:
“An 18th Birthday party being held in Dobcross.
“A party being held at an address in Lees.
“Mixing of different households at numerous addresses in Chadderton.
“Failing to self isolate after returning from abroad at an address in Werneth.
“Mixing of different households at an address in Limeside.
“A makeshift barbers found to be operating in the Moorside area of Oldham.
“A mobile hairdresser continuing to carry out hairdressing services in the Oldham area.”
