A magical illuminated winter wonderland coming to Dunham Massey this Christmas

Dunham Massey will once again be transformed into a magical winter wonderland this Christmas.

Back for its third year, the Cheshire National Trust site is promising all new installations as well as family favourites brought back including the larger-than-life glittering deer.

From November 22 to December 30, visitors are invited to take a stroll through the glowing Vortex Tunnels and stroll towards the mesmerising reflections made by Fire on Water.

Just a 50 minute drive from Liverpool, families will be greeted by Cranberry Sparklesnaps, Dunham Massey’s larger-than-life glittering deer.

Adults and children alike can then be awestruck as they make their way beneath twinkling tunnels drenched in seasonal colour, shards of light, frosty snowflakes, stars and baubles.

Children should be able to catch a glimpse of Father Christmas along the way, too.

There will be plenty of surprises on the way round too as lights seem to tumble from the undergrowth and light up trees like fireworks.

At the end of the walk, families have the option to enjoy a spiced cider, mulled wine or hot chocolate or if preferred there is also a fire pit to gather around where they can toast marshmallows.

Some weekend dates are already sold out, however there are plenty of weekday times available.
