A fantasy themed cocktail making experience, The Cauldron, has announced plans to set up a pop-up in Dublin.
Following on from its success in London, New York, and Edinburgh, The Cauldron is ready to welcome all of Ireland's aspiring witches and wizards.
Opening in July, the pop-up will be in The Liquor Rooms at 5 Wellington Quay, and is expected to last for three months.
It is a one hour and forty five minute experience that will see guests put on wizarding clothes, carry a magic wand, and get involved in interactive workshops that will see teach them magic and potion making.
So if you've ever fantasised about going to classes in Hogwarts, now is your chance to try your hand at Potions!
Visitors will learn how to brew two drinkable potions that will change colours, bubble and smoke.
They can also use their magic wand to pour their own pint of “Wicked Wolf,” a limited edition collaboration beer brewed for The Cauldron Dublin by Wicklow Wolf in Bray.
The hoppy and floral IPA is brewed with ingredients used in real magical history - Jasmine and Green Tea - and those specific to Ireland - Malted Irish Barley and Wicklow Water.
Co-founder David Duckworth, a molecular cocktail and experience designer, remarked on the strong fit between The Cauldron’s concept and Irish folklore.
He said: “Celtic folklore and mythology ties into the fantastical experience we are bringing to Dublin. The idea that magic is real and just inaccessible to ordinary people or that the veil to the other realm is just beyond reach is a concept that resonates with those who love fantasy and mythology. Our goal is to use science, the magic of our world, to make that dream real.”
The Magical Experience opens in July in The Liquor Rooms at 5 Wellington Quay.
