'A lot tougher' - Liverpool fans all make the same point after Diogo Jota injury blow

Liverpool fans have once again been left ruing their injury luck after Diogo Jota was ruled out for the final three games of the season.

The Reds head to the Hawthorns looking to build on the momentum from their 4-2 victory at Old Trafford on Thursday night.

They have to do that without Jota, though, who is ruled out of the match with a foot problem picked up in the victory against Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the Portuguese forward will play no further part in Liverpool's quest for Champions League qualification, with matches against Burnley and Crystal Palace to follow the clash.

Sadio Mane returns to the starting XI in his place, whilst Gini Wijnaldum comes out for Curtis Jones.

For Jota, it's another injury setback after missing a large portion of the season after a knee injury in December and is now back on the sidelines.

Given the injury problems Liverpool have faced across the course of the season, Reds fans have been cursing their luck again on social media.

Liverpool’s injury list highlighted by the lack of senior options on the bench, with young quartet Leighton Clarkson, Ben Woodburn, Neco Williams and Billy Koumetio all named as substitutes.

A win for Klopp's men would move them to within one point of Chelsea, who face Leicester City on Tuesday night.
