Uh, yeah, this is kind of a weird baseball year, to say the least.
We’re not even out of May yet, and on Wednesday night, we got our sixth — SIXTH — no-hitter of 2021 thanks to New York Yankees starter Corey Kluber, who threw one against his former team, the Texas Rangers.
What’s even wilder is the fact that just three teams — the Rangers, Cleveland and the Seattle Mariners — have been on the wrong end of no-hitters this year twice each. That’s right, three teams are responsible for all this!
