_Gunnar Bentz, 20, is a first-time Olympian who swims for the University of Georgia. He earned a gold medal by swimming a qualifying heat in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay. The business major hails from Athens, Ga. He said he started swimming at age 3 because "I wasn't good at any other sports."
_Jack Conger, 21, is a first-time Olympian who swims for the University of Texas. He earned a gold medal by swimming a qualifying heat in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay. He's from the Washington suburb of Rockville, Md., and grew up swimming on the same recreational circuit as Katie Ledecky. During the Olympic trials, the corporate communications major finished third in both the 200-meter freestyle and the 200-meter butterfly.
_Jimmy Feigen, 26, is a two-time Olympian who won a silver medal in the 4x100-meter freestyle relay in 2012 and a gold medal in the same event in 2016, both for swimming in qualifying heats. He was born in Hawaii and swam for the University of Texas, from which he graduated in 2013. The aspiring orthopedic surgeon has a pet cat named Zeus and a pet python named Monty Python.
