The 2021 season was a magical one for the Georgia Bulldogs as they secured the first national championship since 1980.
One of the reasons for the jump was the consistent play of the defense and head coach Kirby Smart sticking with quarterback Stetson Bennett.
Smart and the Dawgs are looking to make it a repeat run in 2022. Bennett will once again lead the charge but it will have a different feel this time around. Backup quarterback J.T. Daniels won’t be waiting in the wings as he transferred to West Virginia.
