A look at Notre Dame’s injury report for Georgia game

On Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs and Notre Dame Fighting Irish will square off from Sanford Stadium in Athens. A lot is on the line in this matchup as it features two teams currently ranked in the top ten. Let’s take a look at how Notre Dame is faring from a health perspective.

TE Cole Kmet – Probable

Kmet is one of the best tight ends in the nation and it goes without saying that his presence would make a huge positive impact on Notre Dame’s chances

RB Jahmir Smith – Questionable

Although backup running back Smith did not play last week against New Mexico, there is belief in South Bend that he could make his return on Saturday.

WR Michael Young – Out

Young is nursing a broken collarbone and Notre Dame’s other receiver will have to step up in his absence, especially against a seasoned UGA defensive backfield.

RB Jafar Armstrong – Out

Armstrong is still not close to making a return.

Notre Dame will certainly want the players whose status is up in the air to be available in order to have any chance of taking down the Dawgs.
