The Vikings face off against the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football in Week 5.
Recent history hasn’t been super kind to the Vikings against the Seahawks. Minnesota is 0-6 in its last six matchups against Seattle and has never beaten the Seahawks with Russell Wilson at the helm.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins has gone up against the Seahawks four times in his career and has won just once.
In those games, Cousins has averaged 253 passing yards and has thrown a total of just five touchdowns to go with one interception. Cousins has completed 60.8% of his passes (down from his career average of 66.7%).
Cousins’ lone win against the Seahawks as a starter came back in 2017 when Cousins was Washington’s quarterback. Washington won 17-14 against Wilson’s Seahawks.
Cousins was mostly a game-manager, throwing 247 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions. He was sacked six times.
In his third year with the Vikings, Cousins has gotten off to a rough start, already throwing six interceptions, matching his total from last season.
