We’ve seen it throughout the season: Travis Kelce has let his emotions play out on display. Between positive and negative plays, there’s never a mystery about what Kelce is thinking in the moment.
But one thing is for certain: He wants to be on the field for key plays in the Super Bowl.
During the second quarter of Sunday’s Super Bowl 58, Kelce was taken out of the game to set up a red-zone handoff for Isiah Pacheco. The Chiefs running back, though, would fumble on the play, and the 49ers recovered. That led to a fiery exchange where Kelce made contact with Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

Kelce got into Reid’s face and nearly knocked the head coach over. It was clear that Kelce was expressing his disappointment about being removed for that play, but Reid wasn’t ready for that at all. Kelce ultimately had to be separated from Reid in order to cool down.
It seemed like both were able to move on as Kelce was back in the game on the next Chiefs possession.
