A little league coach gave his team an incredibly heartfelt speech after loss at LLWS

Only one team will leave the Little League World Series as champions, but every kid, coach and parent who makes it this far will never forget what it’s like to play on the biggest stage in Williamsport, Pa.

A team from Elizabeth, N.J. had its LLWS run come to an end Wednesday when it lost 4-1 to a team from River Edge, La.

Immediately following the loss, manager Jairo Labrador gathered his team together and gave an incredible speech that had him choked up at the end. It also had a funny moment as he needed some help up after delivering the speech.

This is something these kids and their coach will never forget. He started by saying “I love you guys, man. There’s nothing else to say. You had a city behind you. The state of New Jersey! Elizabeth, New Jersey is now known in the best light because of this group of boys. Because of you guys and the work you did. I want to thank you guys. We’re here because of you guys and your work. Happy graduation day to my 12 year olds. Happy graduation. You guys are going on and be superstars on the big field. It was an honor.”

That’s what it’s all about right there.
