It's one of the most anxious days of the year for students, teachers and families.
Today, students picked up their A-level results .
There was laughter, tears, joy and a lot of jumping around as youngsters were handed their envelopes this morning.
Here's a breakdown of all you need to know.
Aberdare Community School
At Aberdare Community School almost 60% of learners achieved three of more A-levels at the grade of A*-C, and 13% of learners achieved three or more A*-A grades or equivalent.
Headteacher Carol Morgans said: "These young people need to be congratulated for their tremendous achievements.
"We are delighted with our pupils’ success and wish them well for the future."
Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive School
The school saw its best results ever this year.
The school said that 99.6% of pupils achieved A*-E grades, with 87.1% walking away with grades at the higher threshold of A*to C.
An impressive 44.4% also passed with A* to A grades.
Headteacher Debra Baldock said: "I am absolutely thrilled to announce the strongest set of results in our history.
"Massive congratulations to all our students who have succeeded through their hard work, determination and resilience.
"Their achievements are the culmination of many years of determined study, backed up with the support and expertise of our hard-working, highly caring and professional staff."
Hawthorn High School

All students achieved two A-levels at A*-E.
All students who studied the Welsh Baccalaureate also achieved a grade C or above.
Head of sixth form studies Jo Warner said: "We are very proud of our Sixth Form and the success of the pupils this year.
"We are especially delighted this year that all of those who applied to university have received results today resulting in them being offered a place.
"This is a reflection of the hard work of students and staff alike over the duration of their studies."
Mountain Ash Comprehensive School
At Mountain Ash Comprehensive School 96% of students achieved at least two A-levels (or equivalents) at A*to E grades.
Students also performed well in the Skills Challenge Certificate with 88% gaining at least a C grade.
Headteacher Samantha Evans said: "I am so proud of our students, staff and parents.
"The students have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded with some outstanding results.
"All students have secured places at universities and colleges and a number have also obtained some sought after apprenticeships."
Pontypridd High School

Pontypridd High School said it was "delighted" to confirm that 100% of students walked away with two A-levels (or equivalents) at A*-E.
The Welsh Baccalaureate results were also described as "exceptional" with 100% of students passing the Skills Challenge Certificate at grades A*-C.
Headteacher Huw Cripps said: "As headteacher I am very much aware that a major part of this success is a result of the very positive relationships and partnerships we have established with each family over a number of years.
"As always the commitment from all students, staff and the support of each family is greatly appreciated."
St John Baptist CIW High School

At St John Baptist High School 100% of pupils walking away with at least two A-levels (or equivalents) at A*-E.
The number of pupils who achieved three A* or A grades also increased again this year.
Headteacher Susan Mitchell said: "I am delighted at the success that our students have attained.
"These results enable our students to access the next stage of their lives whether it be a place at university, an apprenticeship or employment.
"I am so proud of all of our pupils and would like to congratulate them on their commitment to their studies."
Tonyrefail Community School

Here, 99% of students achieved the Level 3 threshold (two qualifications at A*-E or more).
Among these results, 80% of students achieved grades A*-C and 99% achieved grades A*-E.
There were also 74 A*-A grades gained by pupils.
Headteacher Heather Nicholas said: “Our aim is to ensure that every single one of our fabulous students are able to take their ambitious next steps in life.
"The successes that we see today are a credit to our young people, their families and the staff who work so hard to give them the best opportunity to succeed.
"We are very proud of the students and staff of Tonyrefail Community School.”
Treorchy Comprehensive School

Out of 160 pupils, the percentage of pupils securing grades from A*-C exceeded 80%.
The percentage of pupils achieving at least two A*to C grades was also over 60%, while 99% of students achieved the Level 3 Threshold (at least 2 A*-E grades).
At the school, the overall pass rate stood at 98%.
All pupils also gained the Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate they had been studying for.
Two thirds of the grades achieved were at the higher A*-C standard, and nearly a quarter of the grades achieved were at the highest A*-A.
A statement issued by the school read: "These fantastic results reward the hard work and commitment of the pupils and staff but also reflect the outstanding working relationships that exist between the staff and their students."
Y Pant Comprehensive School

Y Pant said it had been another "fantastic" year.
The school tweeted: "Another successful year of fantastic A-Level results at Y Pant with almost a quarter of students achieving 3A*/A grades and three quarter of students achieving 3 A*-C grades."
The post was accompanied by the hashtag #brilliantpupils.
Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhondda
Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhondda tweeted saying the school had it's 'best ever results.'
Ysgol Gyfun Rhydywaun

Ysgol Gyfun Rhydywaun said its pass rate stood at 96%, and nearly 70% of all grades achieved were between A*-C.
The number of higher grades also increased.
Headteacher Mark Jones said: “We are delighted with the results this year. This is a credit to our students who have worked hard in and beyond lessons over the last two years.
"We wish them the best of luck in the next stage of their careers.”
Ysgol Gyfun Garth Olwg

Ysgol Gyfun Garth Olwg saw 95% of students gain two qualifications or more, with 70% of the grades achieved at A*-C.
Among the school’s high achievers in 2019 were Bethan Horscroft-Preest who passed with two A*s, one A and one C and Jake Spencer who achieved four As.
Headteacher Trystan Edwards, said: "We are very proud of our students and it has been a great privilege to work with them to help them achieve their superb results this summer.
"So many of them have worked so hard that they deserve every success.
"I would also like to thank the Students’ parents, guardians and families, along with our dedicated staff, for their support and dedication."
The College Merthyr Tydfil

For the second year running, the college achieved an overall A-level pass rate of 99%.
As well as this, the college also improved its grade outcomes.
The number of learners achieving grades A*-A has increased by 4%, and 76% of learners bagged A*-C grades.
This sees a rise of 3% on the A*-C grades achieved last year.
Principal Lisa Thomas said: "We are delighted that the college has exceeded its already high standards with yet another hugely successful set of both A-level and vocational results.
"Not only have we achieved a fantastic 99% overall A*-E A-level pass rate, but we have achieved our highest ever percentage of A*-A passes."
