Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after a Co-op worker was threatened with an eight-inch knife in a 'terrifying robbery' near Wigan.
The incident happened at the Co-op store on Church Street in Orrell at around 11.30am on Sunday (September 20).
The man threatened the staff member with a knife and demanded to leave the store with a basket full of shopping.
Police said the knife was a 'large kitchen knife' with a black handle.
He then ran from the scene before getting into a dark blue Ford Focus.
A woman was waiting for him in the vehicle.
The Co-op worker was uninjured but was left shaken by the ordeal, police said.
Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to following the robbery.
Constable Sarah Noblett of GMP's Wigan District said: "The store worker has been put through a terrifying ordeal and we're determined to find the person responsible.
"Do you recognise the man in this picture?
"If so, or if you have any information that may assist our enquiries, please get in touch as soon as possible."
