The FIBA World Cup in China has given the Team USA basketball players some time to experience a different culture and cuisine overseas.
But apparently, Jayson Tatum draws the line at jumping lobsters.
The Celtics star shared a video from a team meal at a seafood restaurant in China this week. And at this restaurant, the live shellfish were displayed on the tables. Tatum was particularly concerned about the lobster, and for good reason …
It jumped! And scared everyone.
When the lobster made its jump, the entire team left their seats and ran away screaming. Like, that was all it took to scare a bunch of NBA players? A jumping lobster is still just a lobster, guys.
I expect better from this USA squad in Wednesday’s quarterfinal against France.
