'A joy' - Lee Johnson reveals what he loves most about Bristol City midfielder Han-Noah Massengo

Lee Johnson says Han-Noah Massengo's attitude will take him a long way in the game.

The 18-year-old summer signing has been a big hit at Bristol City since moving from Monaco, making six appearances for the Robins so far.

City boss Johnson says the Frenchman is settling into the club well, and that the player's approach to playing the game has marked him out from his short time at Ashton Gate so far.

He said: "I absolutely love him, if I could build a person and a footballer that loves football and his sole focus is to improve and get better and enjoy his football while he's doing that, he epitomises that perfectly.

"I think he's been excellent and brave, even against Stoke, maybe it wasn't his absolute best performance in terms of what he's shown before, but he never hid, got on every ball and moved the ball quickly.

"Everything he did tried to do was for the good of the team, that's what I like about him.

"If he keeps the current path and attitude, just turned 18, I haven't seen many better, to be honest.

"It's a joy to work with him on a daily basis."
