The WNBA season is only a week away and teams are already playing preseason games in the run up to the regular season. And one of the most hyped teams heading into the season is also one of the most well-dressed ones on the court.
On Friday, Las Vegas Aces star center A’ja Wilson shared look at some special custom LeBron 16 shoes that are styled in Aces colors. Wilson will be joined this season by Liz Cambage after the Aces landed her in a blockbuster deal, making them one of the favorites to make a title run.
LeBron James has long been a supporter of Women’s basketball, especially outfitting teams with custom versions of his sneakers. Over the past few NCAA tournaments, Nike programs like UCONN and Oregon got their own team versions of the LeBron 16s.
It appears that even before the Aces got the Cambage trade done, they already had the eye of the King as a team to watch in the WNBA this season.
