A.J. Green tabbed as AFC North’s best receiver by expert

It’s not often that people get excited over the Cincinnati Bengals. In a baseball town that’s seen an MLS team erected, the Bengals who have kept the same mundane philosophy for the last decade sometimes go on the backburner.

However, it’s time to flip that thinking.

Behind Zac Taylor, excitement is starting to build around the Bengals on the national level. Peter Schrager, a Fox Sports analyst, isn’t only excited about the Cincinnati Bengals but also believes they have the AFC North’s best receiver in A.J. Green.

In a division with elite talents on the edge like Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry and Juju Smith-Schuster, it’s big time for quality football minds to believe Green is at the top of the list. They refer his three touchdown first half to showcase his potential dominance.

It’ll be crucial for Green to stay healthy though. That’s what’s going to matter the most for the 30-year-old entering his ninth professional season.

That said, over the last three seasons, he’s played in ten-plus games just once. The Bengals, without Green, aren’t the same team and haven’t strung together wins when their star receiver sits.

They need Green, and with him healthy, they’ll have a chance to reign supreme over a division that many expect to be won by the Cleveland Browns.
