A.J. Brown says he’s ready to be the new AB for the Steelers

One of the best wide receiver prospects in the 2019 NFL draft is A.J. Brown. The former Ole Miss star is strong and physical with one of the best all-around skill sets in the entire draft class. And it seems he’s ready to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brown sent out this tweet letting Steeler Nation know he’s ready to be the new AB in Pittsburgh, he just needs a new number.

The Steelers could do much worse than Brown with the No. 20 overall pick. Physically he reminds heavily of JuJu Smith-Schuster and he has a game to match. Brown has been referred to as a bully in his routes and the term certainly fits. He takes what he wants when it comes to space and powers in and out of cuts, forcing defenders to account for him.

Pittsburgh is in dire need of a wide receiver now that Antonio Brown is on his way to the Oakland Raiders. There were several wide receivers at the scouting combine who wowed with ridiculous 40 times but few of them have the body of film Brown does.
