A.J. Brown on beef with Jalen Ramsey: ‘I’m not taking no (expletive)’

Tennessee Titans wideout A.J. Brown and Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey got after each other on multiple occasions during the Week 9 “Sunday Night Football” matchup at SoFi Stadium.

In fact, both players were flagged for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the third quarter. What was odd about that play was that it should have been Ramsey’s second of the game, but referees retroactively changed his first unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to something else.

But that’s another story for another day.

After the game, Brown made it clear he can deal with Ramsey’s trash talk just fine, but not what he called “dirty little stuff” after the play, per The Athletic’s Joe Rexrode:

“I don’t mind the chirping, but little things after the play, little dirty stuff, I’m not going for it,” Brown said. “I’m not trying to fight nobody. But I’m not taking no (expletive), though. … He has my number if he wants to see me. That ain’t no threat.”

Brown had a rough night overall. He reeled did reel in team-highs in catches (five) and receiving yards (42), but he also had a few key drops on third downs that halted Tennessee drives.

Thankfully it didn’t end up hurting the Titans, who saw their defense do more than enough to overcome what was a slow night for the offense.
